Illuminating Hearts Through
the Five Sacred Human Values
"Man + Values = Hero · Man − Values = Zero"
Who We Are
SSS Human Value Games is an initiative of the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation UK, registered as a Charity C.I.O. (No. 1207697). Our mission is to transmit the timeless wisdom of Sri Sathya Sai Baba's teachings through engaging, accessible games and activities for children, families, and communities.
Rooted in the Bal Vikas tradition and the global Education in Human Values (EHV) programme, we have developed a rich library of free resources that bring the Five Human Values to life — in schools, community centres, and homes across the UK and Sri Lanka.
Every game, poster, and activity card in our collection has been thoughtfully designed to spark conversation, build character, and plant seeds of virtue in the hearts of the young.
Our Journey
The seed of SSS Human Value Games was sown in the spirit of Sri Sathya Sai Baba's vision: that education must transform the human heart, not merely the human mind. From early community workshops in the UK to a growing resource library serving families in Sri Lanka, our journey has been one of devotion, creativity, and service.
What began as a small collection of hand-crafted activity cards has blossomed into a comprehensive suite of 19 downloadable games and activities, each aligned with one or more of the five sacred Human Values. Our resources are freely available to educators, parents, Bal Vikas teachers, and anyone who believes that the foundation of a good life is a good character.
Our founder, Dharmayogan Buvana, guided by the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, continues to lead this work with a quiet determination: that every child deserves the chance to discover the hero within.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To make the Five Human Values — Truth, Love, Peace, Right Conduct, and Non-Violence — accessible, joyful, and transformative through beautifully crafted games, activities, and learning resources freely available to all communities.
Our Vision
A world in which every child grows up knowing the difference between right and wrong, choosing love over fear, and carrying the lamp of values into every corner of their life — at home, in school, and in the world.
The Five Human Values
Sri Sathya Sai Baba identified five fundamental Human Values as the cornerstone of character. Every game and activity in our collection is designed to illuminate one or more of these eternal principles.
I
Sathya
Truth
Truthfulness in thought, word, and deed. The light that dispels all darkness and confusion.
II
Prema
Love
Unconditional love for all beings. The binding force that unites hearts across all difference.
III
Shanti
Peace
Inner stillness and equanimity. Peace that flows from within and radiates to all around.
IV
Dharma
Right Conduct
Living according to righteousness, duty, and moral integrity in every situation.
V
Ahimsa
Non-Violence
Harmlessness in thought, word, and action. Respect for all life in its every form.
First Value
Sathya, or Truth, is the bedrock of all human values. It encompasses honesty, integrity, and alignment between inner conviction and outer expression. Sri Sathya Sai Baba taught that truth is not merely the absence of falsehood, but a living reality — the very nature of the Divine. A child who learns to love truth becomes a pillar of trust in every community.
Second Value
Prema, or Love, is the most powerful force in existence. It is unconditional — given freely without expectation of return, flowing equally to friend and stranger. Sai Baba described Love as the very essence of the Divine. Through our activities, children learn to express kindness, empathy, and compassion in their daily lives, discovering that love is not just a feeling but a way of being.
Third Value
Shanti, or Peace, begins within. It is the deep inner calm that remains undisturbed by the storms of the outer world. Sai Baba taught that true peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of inner harmony. Our reflection activities and story-based games help children develop patience, contentment, and the ability to face life's challenges with equanimity and grace.
Fourth Value
Dharma, or Right Conduct, is the expression of inner values in outward action. It is doing the right thing at the right time for the right reason. Sai Baba emphasised that Dharma sustains society — when individuals live with moral integrity, the whole community flourishes. Our games help children understand the consequences of choices and develop a strong moral compass.
Fifth Value
Ahimsa, or Non-Violence, is the crown of all values. It extends beyond physical non-harm to encompass gentleness of thought and speech. Sai Baba taught that true Ahimsa arises naturally when one sees the Divine in every living being. Through our creative and outdoor games, children learn to resolve conflicts peacefully, celebrate diversity, and cultivate a deep reverence for all life.
